Why do pregnancy yoga?

Pregnancy is an amazing, crazy, beautiful time but it can be difficult to navigate the profound physical, emotional and mental changes that come with it. Pregnancy yoga can provide a safe space in which to develop your own sense of intuition, learn more about your body and bond with your baby, while meeting other local mamas-to-be.
Studies have shown that pregnancy yoga can:

Soothe the aches and tension that accompanies pregnancy.
What to expect from a class
In my class you can expect a fun, friendly atmosphere with fairy lights, music and a different focus each week. We cover different breathing techniques which you can use to help manage labour, and then work through some movement with lots of options to support your body, whatever stage you're at in your pregnancy.
Finally we move to the floor so you can spend a few moments supported by props in total, blissful relaxation.
Pregnancy yoga is on every Monday at 7:30pm, Winkleigh Village Hall.
